Purimask는 코로나19와 미세먼지 시대를 위해 설계된 ‘퍼스널 웨어러블 공기정화 마스크’ 입니다. 재사용 가능한 마스크로 필터를 교체할 수 있어 환경보전을 도모하고, 내부 자외선 살균 기능을 갖춰 건강한 호흡 경험을 제공합니다.

Phase 1.0 (Observation & Study)
코로나 시대에 마스크는 다양한 혁신과 함께 빠르게 진화하고 있습니다. 하지만 일회용품은 환경오염에 기여할 뿐 아니라 소비자에게 경제적 부담을 지우고 있습니다. 더욱이 마스크를 장기간 사용할 경우 위생상의 문제가 발생할 수 있습니다.
In the era of COVID-19, masks have been rapidly evolving with various innovations. However, disposable products not only contribute to environmental pollution but also impose economic burdens on consumers. Moreover, long-term use of masks can lead to hygiene concerns.
Phase 2.0 (Define)
우리는 문제를 정의하기 위해 디자인 연구를 시작했고, 실제 사용자의 통찰력을 얻기 위해 유튜브를 플랫폼으로 활용했습니다. 이렇게 수집된 정보를 바탕으로 앞으로 나아가기 위해 필요한 기술과 디자인을 수립했습니다.
We initiated design research to define the problem, and to gain insights from real users, we utilized YouTube as a platform to listen to their experiences. Based on this gathered information, we established the necessary technologies and designs to move forward.
Phase 3.0 (Ideation)
다양한 형태와 방식에 대한 발상(ideation)프로세스를 진행하고 detail sketching 를 진행하였습니다.
The idea process for various forms and methods was carried out and detail sketching was carried out.
Phase 4.0 (Prototype)
마스크의 내부 공간과 외부 치수를 측정할 수 있는 프로토타입을 제작하여 제품의 사양을 확립할 수 있었습니다. 이 과정을 통해 마스크의 기능성과 외관을 모두 고려하여 디자인을 마무리할 수 있었습니다.
By creating prototypes to gauge the internal space and external dimensions of the mask, we were able to establish the specifications of the product. This process allowed us to finalize the design of the mask, considering both its functionality and appearance.
Phase 5.0 (Visualization)
설계를 완료한 후 제품을 시각화하여 최종 검토 및 구현 확인을 수행합니다.
After completing the design, the product is visualized to conduct a final review and confirmation of its implementation.
Phase 6.0 (CMF)
엔지니어링과의 협업을 통해 디자인이 완성되면 제품은 CMF(Color, Material, Finish) 과정을 거쳐 시각적 외관과 질감, 전체적인 미적 특성을 결정합니다.
Once the design is completed through the collaboration with engineering, the product goes through the process of Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) to determine its visual appearance, texture, and overall aesthetic characteristics.
